The American Cancer Society is celebrating its 100th birthday in 2013. Thank you for all you have done for Daffodil Days. There have been many volunteers and supporters that have made Daffodil Days such as important part of the American Cancer Society’s history over the last 40 years and in the Telluride region over 15 years.
The American Cancer Society can have greater impact by investing in far-reaching fundraising programs. Because Daffodil Days is limited to a few geographic areas, it is no longer possible to make this initiative cost effective. For this reason, 2013 will be the final year for Daffodil Days.
I encourage everyone to help color our region yellow with daffodils one last time on March 6-8 in support of our commitment to preventing cancer, save lives and diminish suffering from the disease for the last time.
For a donation of $10, supporters will receive a bouquet of fresh-cut daffodils. Pre-order by March 5 at email@example.com with your contact information and your order, or at the Happy Belly Deli in Norwood.
All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. Let’s bring a breath of spring to you, your family, friends – and support a great cause.
