Colorado winters can be treacherous, but that is no excuse to stay inside! Winter is a great time of year to enjoy quiet drives, snowshoe and ski tours, and other recreational pursuits.

This two hour class will provide survival basics for both the casual winter traveler and the backcountry enthusiast. Bring warm clothes as the program will venture out briefly to learn about winter shelters. Meet at the South Rim Visitor Center.
