TELLURIDE – Telluride Domain Names, a locally owned website-marketing company, has launched the new to provide visitors with a comprehensive guide to all that Telluride has to offer.

According to TDN partner Frank Ruggeri III, “When the opportunity presented itself, we were excited about ways that we could recreate the site visually and technologically to support the domain name and showcase Telluride.

“We thought, we can have a lot of fun with this. We are offering the public a dynamic view of our Telluride.”

TDN partnered with Blue Tent Marketing, a Carbondale-based internet marketing company with an extensive background in marketing destination resorts.

“Blue Tent Marketing is particularly excited about the new, as it is a true powerhouse that provides everything a user could want from a vacation destination website,” said Blue Tent Marketing President Peter Scott. “Congratulations to the Telluride Domain Names team on a great collaborative effort!”

To create, TDN relied on residents. “We asked people who live in the area and enjoy it for so many reasons to write about their hometown. Now we are asking visitors to use the sites as a vehicle to share their Telluride stories, photos and videos as well.”, featuring photographs by Whit Richardson, divides into four sections – Telluride Information, Vacation Experiences, Lodging and Real Estate.

The Telluride Information section aims to provide an inside scoop on summer and winter activities, upcoming events, festivals, dining and entertainment. Vacation Experiences provides an interactive platform for users to share their experiences in Telluride. For the Lodging section, TDN has partnered with Telluride Alpine Lodging as its exclusive vacation rental provider; it includes extensive descriptions of the area, individual properties, and a simplified booking engine. And for the Real Estate section, TND partnered with the Telluride Real Estate Corporation.

SourceGas Customers to See Lower Natural Gas Bills This Winter

LAKEWOOD – SourceGas Distribution LLC has announced that customers in its Western Slope service area will see a net decrease of approximately 16 percent for a typical residential and commercial peak winter month bill.

The net decrease is the result of two filings recently approved by the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, which, on Nov. 1 approved a significant decrease in the natural gas commodity rate for customers in the Western Slope service area. Effective December 3, the CPUC also approved a non-gas base rate adjustment expected to result in an approximately 2 percent increase in peak winter month residential and commercial bills. This increase is due to facility investments, expenses and taxes associated with providing quality natural gas service to approximately 53,000 SourceGas customers in the Western Slope service area. This is the first non-gas base rate increase since 2008.

“Natural gas continues to be the fuel of choice for Colorado’s energy needs. It’s clean, efficient, economical and domestically produced,” said Bill Cantrell, president and CEO of SourceGas. “While our customers are seeing the benefit of lower natural gas prices compared to previous years, we also want to help our customers conserve this valuable energy resource.

“Through our “Excess Is Out” energy efficiency programs, SourceGas offers customers energy audits, rebates on equipment and insulation measures, no-cost energy efficiency upgrades for income qualified residential customers and a custom program for larger

SourceGas recommends a number of options to keep energy costs in check, including: utilizing balanced billing to stabilize bills; setting thermostats back, especially at night or when away (each degree represents a 2-3 percent savings on heating bills); installing weather-stripping and window-caulking; closing doors to rooms not being used; and inspecting the heating system regularly to ensure it is operating efficiently.

Thank you Frank; I have been campaigning mercilessly for almost a year to get T-Ride to upgrade it's Internet image. It must be Karma that you were thinking the same thing.

The new T-Ride website is exactly perfect.

The next step is to get it high up on Google.
