On May 5, 1945, she married Paul Lee Harrison Sr. in Riviera, Tex.
Harrison loved Colorado; the couple moved to Redstone in 1974 and lived there until 1986 before moving to Carbondale until 1989. That year they moved to Montrose, and then in 1993 they moved to Ridgway to be near their daughter and her family, where Harrison made her home until the time of her death.
Harrison is survived by her two sons: Paul L. Harrison Jr. and wife Sheila, of Montrose; Wayne N. Harrison and wife Mary, of Montrose; four daughters: Patricia and husband Charles Middleton of Tuleta, Tex.; Evelyn Ruth and husband Randolph White of Beeville, Tex.; Wanda Harrison of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; and Debbie and husband Ronald Slafter of Ridgway. She also leaves 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Harrison was preceded in death by her husband Paul L. Harrison Sr., one grandson, Kenneth Wayne Harrison, her parents, one brother, and three sisters.
She loved spending time with family and friends, going out in the boat and fishing, camping, reading, gardening, crocheting, traveling with her daughters on the West Coast camping along the way, playing the organ, and going to church with her granddaughters. She also enjoyed listening to her sons play music and spending time with her great grandson.
Harrison had a very close relationship with her grandson, Jason Harrison, whom she felt was one of her own children. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend and so much more. She was a kind and loving person who gave courage and hope to everyone around her. She will be missed by all those lives she touched.
Harrison was a member of the Rebekah's Lodge and she also served on the election board in Ridgway.
