Editor:

We are not in the habit of writing letters to endorse particular candidates but will make an exception in the case of Noelle Hagen who is running for State Representative of House District 58.

We have both known Noelle and her husband Richard for many years. She is a woman of considerable talent, expertise and knowledge of this district’s affairs. Her record as an agency manager, council member and mayor of Montrose stands her in good stead. But above all, Noelle is a most decent, honorable, sincere, and capable candidate for this important district seat. She listens, takes time to acquaint herself with the facts and balances all views against what is right for the people she serves. In short here is a proven leader who can transcend party lines in a non-confrontational manner to get the job done.

Although the 58th District covers a six-county area we can be sure that Noelle will represent Montrose, San Miguel and Ouray counties most effectively because she knows what our issues are and possesses all the necessary skills to represent what we need and have to fight for.

If we are seeking someone who is trustworthy, dependable, effective and able to restore confidence in the system, Noelle Hagen is the right choice.
