Kusuno Onboard as Community Banks of Colorado Banking Center Manager

TELLURIDE – Community Banks of Colorado has hired Chad Kusuno as its Telluride Banking Center manager.  Kusuno, who began his banking career in Boulder in 2004, after graduating from the University of Colorado, who has spent seven years as a community banker and loan officer, has a strong background in consumer and commercial lending.

“I am proud of the business partners and friendships that I’ve developed in Telluride,” Kusuno said. “These relationships will nicely complement my new role as banking center manager.  Raising a family and living in Telluride is a privilege and one of my greatest pleasures.  Banking has allowed me to help other families and clients with their financial goals.

“We have excellent portfolio and secondary market loan products that will help meet our clients’ commercial, consumer and mortgage needs,” he added.

Kusuno will work with Regional President Tricia Maxon, who has accepted a regional role with Community Banks of Colorado, overseeing 17 banking centers across southern Colorado, and with Regional Manager Renee Katz.

“With my expanded responsibilities in Colorado,” Maxon said, “we have hired Chad to manage the Telluride banking center for Community Banks of Colorado. Chad is the perfect candidate for this position, having a strong background in deposits and loans. He is actively involved in our community and will represent the bank well in our community as we grow our presence in Telluride.” Kusuno’s office is located in the Winter Crown building on Colorado Avenue, behind Overland; he can be reached at 970/728-2038 or ckusuno@cobnks.com.
