Thank you for making the 2010 General Election a huge success. San Miguel County has 4,408 active registered voters. Of those electors, 2,444 requested a mail-in ballot and our office received 1,969 of those ballots back, an 80.56 percent return! One-thousand-ninety-seven electors came out to the polls on Election Day. This was a 65.5 percent turnout for a mid-term General Election.
Many of our county employees volunteered their time to help out our head judges this year. Special Thanks to all of our Head Judges and our Election Staff at San Miguel County for your dedication, hard work and long hours.
Thank you to all of the electors who came out to vote!
– Peggy Nerlin, San Miguel County Clerk and Recorder
