MONTROSE – Gotta Be Girls, whose Glenda Fletchall, Margaret Freeman, Barb Bernhardt and Karen Mercer deliver fresh acoustic music featuring tight vocal harmonies accompanied by guitars, mandolin, bass, banjo and percussion, come to the Montrose Pavilion Courtyard Friday, June 3, at 7:30 p.m., under the stars in the Pavilion Courtyard. Tickets are $15 general admission and $8 for students with ID. A cash bar is available.
The group plays original material and covers many genres from classic pop to swing, funky folk, country and bluegrass.
Joining them are the Atomic Pablo Jazz Vibes Project, formed in 2008, to get vintage vibraphones out of the basement. With Doug Bainbridge on vibes, Paul Niemiec on guitar and Hilary Freeman on bass, the Atomic Pablo Jazz Vibes Project brings extensive musical knowledge and experience to a show in a thoughtful, relaxing, musical environment.
