“I stopped off at a hot dog stand before the screening of ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit,’ and ran into a couple of the other local movie critics,” wrote Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun Times. “They said they were going to the same screening. I asked them what they'd heard about the film. They said they were going to see it for the second time in two days. That's the kind of word of mouth money can't buy.”

Kids and parents alike will be treated to a free screening of Roger Rabbit Sunday, Sept. 25, at the Palm Theater, complete with a visit from special guest Jeff Price, its screenwriter. Price will discuss the film and answer questions about this animated, film-noir style mystery, set in 1947 Hollywood, in a world where “Toons” and humans live together.  Showtime is Sunday, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m.,at the Michael D. Palm Theatre for the Performing Arts, in Telluride. The film is 104 minutes and rated PG.
