Editor:

What an amazing turnout we had for Telluride Adaptive Sports Program’s fundraising event Rockin’ at the Opera.  It was our most successful event to date! We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of support we received from the community.

We would especially like to thank Turner Toyota in Montrose, Alpine Bank and Emeritus Pinot Noir for sponsoring this year’s event.  Also, a huge thank you to the five restaurants and one  caterer that provided the most delicious and incredible food throughout the evening.   Honga’s, Rustico, Siam, Rev, Flavor and AH Cuisine all donated their time and resources to serve our guests amazing delicacies.  Over 200 businesses and individuals donated to our live and silent auction. We are also incredibly grateful to our team of volunteers who helped to organize and run the event.

In addition to our auctions, we offered attendees the opportunity to sponsor scholarships for regional students, Special Olympics training and wounded veterans. That endeavor alone raised over $32,000.

Thank you to everyone who had a hand in this event – our dedicated volunteers, attendees and donors. It was a wonderful evening and we look forward to seeing all of you next year.

Sincerely,

– Jackie Unternahrer and Courtney Stuecheli, Telluride Adaptive Sports Program
