I would like to thank all the women in Woman’s Club, and every other woman who helped with our rummage sale in June. Also, a special thanks goes out to Chris Harper, Dick Spirek, Steve Caldwell, Gary Elliott, Dickie Edmonds, Darryl Bennett, Charlie Berger, Ben Anderson, Russell Patterson, Larry Leeper, and Marshall Evans without whose strong backs and sense of humor we could have never proceeded, much less succeeded. Ridgway Mountain Market and City Market supported the sale, and I wish to thank them, as well.

We were able to distribute the remains of our sale to MADA, Habitat for Humanity, Promise House, Ridgway Rendezvous, the Humane Society, Ridgway and Ouray Schools, the Ouray Library, and Crossroads Assisted Living at Delta. We thank all of these organizations and wish them all the best.

As usual, the sale does depend on the wonderful people of Ouray County, who after donating unique stuff turn around and buy back great stuff. Thank each of you for participating, and allowing us to make money to distribute to local nonprofit organizations.

Patricia Ratliff, president, Woman’s Club of Ouray
