I am pleased to announce my candidacy to the Office of San Miguel County Assessor; a position which, thanks to the voters of San Miguel County, I've held with pride for the past 36 years.
They are doing a tremendous job in a very dangerous setting. They are working very long and hard hours to try and get the road open as quick as possible.
It is good news that the newly seated Ouray City Council is expanding the Community Development Committee.
This is rude and inexcusable behavior, hardly befitting a "civilized" society.
I sincerely hope Senate Bill 84 is passed by the State Legislature changing the way counties of less than 70,000 elect commissioners.
