2010 Changes to Polling Locations in Montrose County

MONTROSE COUNTY – The Montrose County Elections Office wants the public to be aware of changes in location for early voting sites. Early voting will be on electronic voting machines only. 

The following two sites are open through Friday, Oct. 29, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.: Montrose County Administration Building, Commissioners Board Room, 161 S. Townsend Ave., Montrose, CO 81401. (The entrance faces City Market. It’s the building next to the Court House.); and Naturita Chamber of Commerce, 230 W. Main Street, Naturita, CO 81422. Election Day voting will be on paper ballots, with one electronic voting machine for the convenience of Electors with disabilities, or anyone else who chooses to vote by machine. If an Elector prefers a mail-in ballot, they can pick theirs up at the Elections Office located at 320 S. First St, Montrose, CO 81401 until Friday, Oct. 29. Electors can apply by mail until Tuesday, Oct. 26. Applications may be obtained in person at the Clerk’s Office or online at:  http://www.montrosecounty.net/index.aspx?nid=196.

2010 PRECINCT POLLING LOCATIONS

Precincts 1, 2, 7, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26:
Montrose Pavilion, 1800 Pavilion Dr., Montrose, CO 81401. If you previously voted at Grace Community Church, Montrose Pavilion, The Montrose Library, or Valley Baptist Church, you will now vote at the Montrose Pavilion.

Precincts 3, 4, 6, 9, 19, 20, 21, 27: Friendship Hall (Montrose County Fairgrounds), 1001 N 2nd St., Montrose, CO 81401. If you previously voted at DMEA, City of Montrose Centennial Room, or Friendship Hall, you will now vote at Friendship Hall.

Precincts 11, 12, 13, 28: American Legion Hall, 315 5th St., Olathe, CO 81425. There is no change at this polling place.

Precincts 5, 8, 10, 16: Naturita Chamber of Commerce, 230 W Main Street, Naturita, CO 81422. If you previously voted at the Nucla Fire Hall, you will now vote at the Naturita Chamber of Commerce.
