MONTROSE – Because more families are struggling this year, two anti-drug groups have joined forces to raise money to help kids have a better Christmas.

The resulting Winter Warmth Drive needs donations to buy gift certificates for food and services that will be distributed to needy families by Dec. 15 by the Montrose Meth Coalition and the Montrose Drug Endangered Children Alliance. Donations of both cash and business services are needed.

The appeal is being made to businesses in Montrose County via a flier with the headline, “Will you and your employees help children in need in Montrose County?”

For more information on donating or distribution locations, call 240-8784 or email to Checks can be made out to Montrose Meth Coalition/D.E.C.A. and mailed to Partners at 315 S. 7th Street, Montrose CO 81401.
