Norwood resident Gary Latham, 52, died from heart failure at his residence at the Norwood Inn Tuesday morning.

Gary was born to Raymond and Carol Sue (Robb) Latham in Uravan, Colo., Nov. 27, 1956. He spent his childhood on the family ranch in Bedrock, Colo. He was an only child, but always had cousins around to pester.

Gary married Robert Gentry on August 2, 1980 but they later divorced in 1994. They had two sons; Tony Latham, age 24 of Grand Junction and Kyle Latham, age 21, a student in Colorado Springs. Gary is also survived by his mother, Carol Sue of Nucla, Colo. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray, who died in 1994.

Gary will be missed greatly. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 14, at the Abundant Life Church in Norwood.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Paradox Cemetery around 3 p.m. A dinner in Paradox will likely be held after the services are over.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
