TSSC Snowboarders Score at Nationals

“The Telluride Snowboard Team did amazing at USASA Nationals, possibly our best all-time placing,” said Molly Cooney, coach at the Telluride Ski and Snowboard Club, of the team’s trip to Copper Mountain at the beginning of April.

Cooney, who was also a competitor, did her team proud by taking first in the women’s halfpipe – while younger brother Beecher also became a national champion after he took the gold in halfpipe and first in the overall rankings for all five snowboard disciplines (halfpipe, slopestyle, slalom, giant slalom, and boardercross.)
