Over 600 people enjoyed the Sixth Annual Derby to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Montrose County. We had athletes from all over Colorado and southern Utah that came to compete.

A special thank you to Celebrations Event Productions for taking this event to a new level. The new addition this year was adding the Brewfest. There were eight craft brews represented from around the region, including Horsefly and 2 Rascals. The City of Montrose was very accommodating and excited to have this programming in the park. There were incredible partnerships from the Fire District, the Police Department and EMTs.

We doubled our proceeds over last year’s event and 100% of the money raised goes directly back into our community to purchase building materials and hire subcontractors for our homes. We simply could not have had this success without the incredible support of our sponsors and volunteers. Sponsors include, Bank of the West, Colorado Radio (Cherry Creek), Celebrations, Park Avenue Parties, Hartman Brothers, The Watch, Western Slope Orthopedics, Montrose Real Estate Group, City of Montrose, Days Inn, Republic Mortgage Home Loans, Rocky Mountain Ice, RnR Sports Bar, Pepsi Cola Bottling, Sani-Serve, Stephens Dooley Lawyer, Montrose Wellness Center, Telluride Express, Montrose Water Factory, Columbine Copy Center, Sports Authority, Wal-Mart, The Coffee Trader, Gold’s Gym, Wild Rose, Davis Service Center, City Market & The Red Barn.  This is yet another reason; Montrose is an All American City!
