TELLURIDE - The newly created Telluride Homecoming Festival, an all-community “Big Tent Gathering” organized by Telluride Rotary, takes place Saturday, July 20, 5-9 p.m., in the Town Park Oval.
All are welcome, from those who have called Telluride home to those who have fallen in love with Telluride and have memories to share. Come see old friends, and make new friends.
KOTO DJs will provide from the 1940s up to now, with something for every generation. The Telluride Elks will sell picnic-style food, and Rotary will sell beer, wine and mixed drinks throughout the evening. All attendees will receive a free souvenir mug.
Admission is $5.50 in advance at www.TellurideHomecoming.com, and $10 at the gate. VIPs planning to attend include Gary Bennett, Johnnie Stevens and Senior Mahoney. Funds from Telluride Homecoming Festival will go to support the Telluride Rotary Foundation, which supports local scholarships, youth exchange, community projects and international projects.
The Telluride Homecoming Festival spans the entire weekend, with activities including 4x4 jeep tours, the Ah Haa Art Auction, school tours, museum tours and historic home tours. Many local businesses offer discounts to attendees.
