NORWOOD, Sept. 28, 1:10 p.m. – Megan McCabe and Adrian Musgrove, the husband-and-wife team that has helped raise the bar for local cuisine, announced this week they are moving to Montrose.
With a baby due in January, the couple decided to move closer health care, where Musgrove, who created an entirely new menu for the inn, will work for the Bridges Country Club. The couple made the inn’s outdoors patio restaurant the place to be, this summer.
For the past three years, the duo worked hard to find the right business venture in Norwood, working everywhere from the Rock ‘n’ R restaurant to the Hitchin’ Post to the Welded Elephant, the popular summer- barbecue shack.
The two, who trained at cooking schools in Scottsdale and Santa Barbara, moved into the Back Narrows kitchen in May.
“We found out we were pregnant the day we took over this place,” McCabe said.
The fact that they are leaving Norwood is highly emotional for both of them.
“I just want to thank everybody for their support,” said Musgrove. “They have supported us in every business venture we had.
“We’ll be back,” he added.
